ABALA IN ANCIENT CATALHOYUK 7250 B.C.

In the Legend of Abala, the prehistoric Siberian shaman traveled to the far corners of the world to spread his teachings of the Ways of the Goddess Eke and to gather the knowledge that the Elders of the Outsiders had themselves acquired.  One of the first of the Toru-ii ‘Far Distant Ones’ that he visited were the people of a land that would eventually become known in history as the Land of Anatolia.

The Toru-ii People constructed a special ‘house’ for him, it was known as the Kui-Ugh, the ‘Place of the Calling’ where he would teach, conduct his ceremonies and perform his rituals.  Because the journey to attend the sacred ceremonies was very long for most, the ketul ‘journey’ and the Kui-Ugh ‘House’ ceremonies became known as place of the ceremony of the sacred Ketul Kui-Ugh, the ‘Journey to the Place of the Calling’ ceremony.

In these ceremonies, the Great Abala performed in his shaman’s headgear, a strange-looking headpiece that had horns protruding on either side of his head.  In his Siberian home, the Great Abala was the Taisi chief of his clan, but in the language of the Toru-ii People, the tas was a vulture, thus they hailed him to be the Great Vulture.

But of all the titles bestowed upon him, perhaps the most significant was that of the Great Arighan, the ‘Sacred One’ or the ‘Holy One’.  Thousands of years later, he would be remembered simply as ‘The Aryan’.

The following study compares the archaeological finds of the ancient city Catalhoyuk in long-ago Anatolia with the Mongolian words and legend of the Great Abala.

CATALHOYUK, ANCIENT CITY OF THE GODDESS

In ancient Anatolia (Turkey), prehistoric settlements at Catalhoyuk on the Konya Plain have been dated to 17,000 B.C., 75000 B.C., 5500 B.C. and 4500 B.C.  The best known settlement of Catalhoyuk is the ‘Second Era’ site of about 7500 B.C., over 9500 years ago.  The estimated population of Catalhoyuk at that time was between 6000-8000 people, making it one of the largest settlements in the entire ancient Middle East of the time.
