I beg to differ. I believe that there is a place that was the source for the Bible descriptions of a primitive place of plenty. I suggest that there are a few major clues that can not only lead us to the Garden of Eden but they can also tell us the true story of the origins of humankind.

THE FIRST MAJOR CLUE

According to Nelson’s New Illustrated Bible Dictionary: The Garden of Eden was “a place of God’s blessing and prosperity. The Garden of Eden included many kinds of beautiful and fruit-bearing trees, including ‘the tree of life’ and ‘the tree of the knowledge of good and evil’. The Garden was also filled with all kinds of birds and land animals. It was well-watered, insuring lush vegetation and pasture.”

According to the popular Revell Bible Dictionary: “Symbolically, Eden has always represented the idyllic state, where beauty and peace reign.”

This was the original paradise place on Earth, the place where the First Man and the First Woman took their first steps.

This is the First Major Clue: The Garden of Eden was a place of plenty.

THE GARDEN OF EDEN

It was Paradise.

It was lost to mankind because of Her.

Everyone has searched for it.

Scholars have placed it in Mesopotamia, Sumeria, Anatolia, Egypt, the Caucasus Mountains, the Zagros mountains and in other places all over the world, including the North Pole and the South Pole. The theories are many.

But it remains a ‘Divine Mystery’.
